The content is relative to the CEH exam, and is very helpful. I have learned a good deal about the certification requirements. But the typos and grammar are so bad that I've had to read sentences multiple times to try and determine their meaning - oftentimes, I'm left not really knowing for sure. I don't think it was written by a native English speaker, as evident by the lack of articles such as "a" and "the." This book needs some major rounds of proofreading and correction.Additionally, don't plan on taking any of the sample tests to prepare you for the actual test. For example, one of the sample questions is (paraphrased) Which DNS record reveals information about the mail server (MX)? The answer (MX) is in the question! And some questions are very nebulous, with no definitive answers anywhere in the text. I'm considering this book a basic overview of the information before I really start studying.
If I could give 0 stars, that’s what this book would get. It is very apparent that the authors do not speak English as their first language. Review questions at the end of each of the chapters use words that don’t apply to the question and you have to figure out what the questions are trying to ask in many cases.There is basically no detail in each of the sections of the book, it gives a paragraph describing each heading. If you’re buying this book to study for the CEH exam, I hope you’ve got a lot of industry experience and can go off of what you learned previous to reading this.This will no longer sell as soon as other books become available for the current CEH exam.
I am reading this alongside the official online CEH curriculum from EC-Council. The chapters match perfectly. The font sizes used in this book are perfect. I don't even need my glasses to read it. Its got questions and answers at the end of each chapter, labs for practice. This was a perfect buy for me.
Hi All:I received the material in a timely manner (2 days from US to Qatar). The book is nicely designed with lots of examples and most important lots of figures. The book font is perfect for reading,Iam CEH v4 certified and had the ECCU MSC courses also.The book is highly recommended for those who are pursing the CEH V10 exam, as the literature used is technically simple to understand and to the point. The reason i bought the book is to look at the IoT, cloud, AI and ML updates it has.The book delivers a deep understanding of vulnerability analysis methods in a real-world environment.Good luck in your exams!
I think this was written either by a machine, or someone with a very loose grasp on the English language. It's awful. CEH Certified Ethical Hacker Bundle, Third Edition is at least written by a person, and is much butter. (This is the kind of mistake you'll find in this book.)
This is one of the best CEHv10 book out there.Excellent, easy to understand diagrams. Relevant, thought producing questions throughout the text.It's an easy, fast read. Covers every topic .
This is, without a doubt, the worst textbook I've ever purchased. There was very obviously ZERO editing or grammar checking involved in the publishing of this book. It reads like one lengthy ESL blog post, not a book. This book was written so poorly it made me second-guess myself on topics I've already mastered. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
