The best book on Digital Design/Computer Architecture!Used this book as a supplement to the Computer Organization and Design textbook required for my class and I was finally able to understand concepts and get my project working in Verilog.I highly recommend either the ARM or MIPS edition as appropriate to your class/project.
Great book for programmers who decided to pick up electronics. Starts with basics such as a boolean algebra and continues into the CPU design.

I'm learning Verilog, this book is all VHDL (which is different) and system verilog so it hasn't been helpful. I stopped using it (despite the fact that it's required for class I'm taking) since it was actually confusing.
I love this book
Excellent book for beginners
This book is a great service to the education community. Being able to morph the ARM design smoothly from the earlier design / methodology we used to teach MIPS processors is great. It simplifies teaching, and I think teaching ARM is a better choice than MIPS because it is more relevant from a practical point of view.
